झकास !

I recently stumbled upon Imagekind.com as I was looking some place to get my photos printed. When I checked out the site I thought it would be fun to try putting some of my pictures for sale. I am NO professional by any stretch on imagination (I am not even an amateur but rather an enthusiast) , but why not try? The intention is not to make money (as if anybody really 'makes money' selling photographs), but to compare with others, more experienced photographers.

एक संध्याकाळ ...

संध्याकाळी दारापुढे
सैलावलेला मेपल,
त्याच्या फांद्यांमधून रेंगाळणारं आळसावलेलं ऊन,
आणि सवयीनुसार पारावर विसावलेला मी.

नव्यानेच तिघांची ओळख झाली
'तुमचं कसं - आमचं कसं?'
नेहमीचेच नमस्कार-चमत्कार
घडीव शब्दाळ सोपस्कार

शब्द सरले तेव्हा मैत्र जडलं,
क्षणांत आभाळाचा झाला कॅन्व्हस
अन तिघांनी मिळून रेखाटलं
एक केशरी चित्र .... उद्याचं !

ते चित्र डोळ्यात साठवून
मेपल डोलू लागला वार्‍याच्या शीळ-मारव्यावर,
ऊन अलगद उतरलं क्षितिजापल्याड
अन मी वितळत गेलो रात्रीच्या आश्वासक अंधारात ...

'येतो' म्हणण्याचं भान कुणालाच उरलं नाही,
तशी गरजही उरली नाही.
